Al-Baghli Ideal Son Award for 2014 announced on Tuesday the names of its awardees, among them those who showed excellence in painting, photography, and writing short stories, among other things.
Originator of the Ideal Son Award, Ibrahmim Al-Baghli, indicated in a press conference convened to name this year's awardees that the Award was in its eighth year and was a success because of its fundamental message that all people should honor their parents, the elderly, and the disadvantaged.
This year's awards were given in conjunction with the Fine Arts Society, the Kuwait Journalists Association, and the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters.
