National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim received on Sunday, the visiting Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting mirrored the depth of close historical ties between the two countries and ways and means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in various areas.
Al-Ghanim expressed that Kuwait and Egypt need to exert more efforts to promote relations among Arab countries and to achieve solidarity to confront terrorism in all its forms and manifestations for the security and stability of Arab peoples, especially in light of the circumstances in region.
The meeting was attended by senior members of the National Assembly and the visiting Egyptian prime minister's accompanying delegation.
