Hudaydah Governor Hassan Ahmed al Hai survived on Friday an assassination attempt after unidentified gunmen hurled a bomb at his car that was parked in front of a mosque adjacent to his house.

The attack led to the injury of one of his guards and the killing of one person who was en route to perform Dawn prayers.
