Tehran - FNA
The Syrian Army made gains in its fight against the al-Nusra Front in Homs province, leaving a large number of the terrorists dead and injured.
The army soldiers staged a series of operations in al-Ameriye and Deir Fuul areas, and claimed the lives of too many al-Nusra terrorists in the province.
Meantime, the Syrian Army raided the strongholds of Takfiri militants during seperate operations in al-Shael, Jazal, al-Tibeh, al-Majbal, al-Kadir, al-Qibab, Jibab Hamad, al-Mshayrfeh, and al-Qabaliye districts in Homs, killing and injuring scores of them.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs and terrorists against both the army and civilians.
The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle-East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history.
As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists.
