Al Qaeda member who returned from Pakistan was referred to Criminal Court over charges of joining a terrorist organization and receiving military training outside Egypt with the aim of carrying out violence acts against army and police in Egypt.

Earlier, Sharqiya security bodies received information that a 20-year-old youth joined al Qaeda group after the death of his father, who was also a member in the group, in an air raid in Pakistan.

Information also said that he received training on manufacturing bombs and using weapons.

Security forces managed to arrest and refer him to Prosecution for investigations.
