Alexandria security Chief Mohamed El Sharkawi on Saturday held a meeting with top security officials in the province to discuss the security situation and plans in the second- largest Egyptian city.
During the meeting, plans of securing squares and public, police and vital facilities and buildings as well as ways to deal with criminals were tackled.
El Sharkawi called on policemen in the province to strengthen relations with Alexandrians who are "totally confident" in the police to restore stability and security.
