The Algerian Foreign Ministry deplored on Wednesday dreadful terrorist attack in Tunis that left at least 19 people killed.
In a statement, the ministry asserted Algeria's solidarity with the Tunisian people and government.
The ministry described the attack on Bardo museum near the Tunisian Parliament as a desperate attempt to destabilize Tunisia.
According to Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid, the death toll included 17 European tourists along with 22 others injured.
