Algeria is “reasonably optimistic” about the outcome of the inter-Libyan dialogue which will be held Tuesday in Algiers, said Algerian Foreign Affairs Minister Ramtane Lamamra.
“We are reasonably optimistic, and work to ensure that the dialogue between the Libyan brothers will settle the crisis in Libya,” said Lamamra in a statement quoted by the state news agency APS.
“We hope that the meeting of Algiers will be a start, for our Libyan brothers towards an agreement, national consensus on the creation of a government of national union and also on the security arrangements that allow the country to evolve and move towards the organization of calm elections, security and stability,” he added.
He said that about 15 key political leaders, heads of parties and activists known in Libya will take part in the meeting of Algiers.
