Algeria pays tribute to Saudi success to win terror battle

Abdulwahab Darbal, the ambassador of Algeria to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today paid tribute to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's success winning the battle against terrorism, citing its regional and international political and economic leverage.
In an exclusive statement to SPA on the fringes of the OIC foreign ministers conference, currently ongoing in Jeddah, Darbal said the Arab region is suffering from accumulating crises that make the situation more complicated, noting that the situation requires strong and serious support from all relevant parties.
He drew a line between the concepts of struggle and terrorism, calling for unifying ranks of Arab world to face the current crises.
He said Algeria was the first Arab country to push terrorists back and wipe them out of the country's politics.
However, he praised Saudi Arabia's experience in fighting terrorism and getting rid of it, underscoring the importance of facing terrorism which, he said, has no border or nation.
