A large number of Algerian activists on Twitter called on the Algerian government to expel Iranian Cultural Attaché Amir Musavi for his attempts to propagate Shiism and spread chaos in the country, Sky News reported on Tuesday.

The number of activists and Twitter users who called for kicking out the Iranian envoy from Algeria hit about one million, according to Sky News.

Some activists accused Musavi of fueling sectarian incidents that occurred in Ghardaïa Province in last July, claiming the lives of 23 people.
