A force of the Algerian army on Tuesday arrested a terrorist and restored amounts of arms and ammunition in Jijel state, a statement by the defense ministry reported.

Also, the army seized large amounts of ammunition, a model of a hunting rifle, two four-wheel drive cars, a field telescopic, mobile phones and amounts of fuel in Ouargla state.

Some 11 illegal immigrants from Niger nationality were arrested near Hassi Messaoud.
