The provincial caravan of solidarity with the children of Gaza (Palestine) was launched Wednesday in Tissemsilt at the initiative of the provincial commission of the Algerian Muslim Scouts (SMA).
This caravan will cross the 22 communes of the province to collect new clothes for children aged between 5 and 14, said the SMA’s provincial commissioner Abdelkader Guerroudj.
Along with this initiative of solidarity, placed under the slogan “Help the children of Gaza,” an awareness campaign will be organized by the scouts to invite benefactors to contribute to the purchase of clothes.
The caravan is part of the solidarity initiatives launched by SMA’s general command aimed at collecting aid for the children of Gaza and responding to the call of the public authorities to support these children suffering from Israeli blockade and aggression.
SMA’s provincial commission will launch, in the beginning of September, a new initiative of solidarity aimed at collecting medicines for the population of Gaza.
