Parliament speaker and President of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) Marzouq Al-Ghanim Tuesday returned home from Lebanon, where he visited camps of Syrian refugees.
Al-Ghanim's visit to Lebanon was at the invitation of the Middle East and North Africa section of the UN refugee agency in order to have a first-hand account of the conditions of the Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
Al-Ghanim was received at the airport by Minister of Oil and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Dr. Ali Al-Omair.
