Iraqi Vice President Iyad Allawi and Parliament Speaker Salim al Jabouri discussed the latest political developments.

They probed security file as well as military operations part of the war on Daesh terrorist group.

In press statements on Saturday, media adviser of the Iraqi vice president Alaa Makki said that the meeting took up the national reconciliation file.

He underscored that the military victory on terrorism is not enough, as it should be accompanied by national reconciliation.

The reconciliation file faces several challenges, he said.
