Jordanian Minister of Interior Hussein Hazza' Al-Majali received Kuwait Ambassador Dr. Hamad Al-Duaij on Tuesday.
During the meeting Al-Majali expressed gratitude to Kuwait for its supportive stances towards the Kingdom of Jordan at all regional and international levels, according to a statement issued by the Jordanian Ministry of Interior.
He affirmed the commitment of his government to caring for all Kuwaitis and other GCC nationals living in Jordan.
The Jordanian government works constantly to facilitate the stay of Kuwaiti students and the investments of Kuwaiti investors in the Kingdom, the minister told Al-Duaij, lauding the special ties between the two countries.
Al-Majali stressed that the Kingdom enjoys exemplary security thanks to the wise leadership of King Abdullah II and the awareness of the Jordanian people.
The two sides reviewed various aspects of cooperation in such areas as security, information and experience sharing, visit exchanges and regional developments, the statement said.
Minister Al-Majali thanked Dr. Al-Duaij for his contributions to the strengthening of the bilateral ties in the political, economic, social and cultural domains.
On his part, Dr. Al-Duaij handed the minister an invitation from Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah to visit Kuwait to discuss a number of issues of common concern.
He spoke highly of the close ties between King Abdullah II and His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah which reflected positively on the exemplary ties between the two countries.
He thanked Jordan for the special care given to Kuwaiti students studying in the kingdom and the tourists and investors.
He noted that the stable security situation in the kingdom as well as the close ties are helpful for Kuwaiti investors willing to invest in the kingdom.
