An Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) delegation, currently visiting Egypt, held a meeting Tuesday with a number of Egyptian lawmakers. 

The meeting took up cooperation with the House of Representatives and holding workshops to train newly-elected parliament members to conduct their job, said a statement by the parliament's media office.

The statement said the lawmakers called for establishing an institute in cooperation with the EU to help parliaments in Egypt, Arab and African countries
