Suez police on Saturday dispersed a demonstration staged at one of the province's main squares to protest against a criminal court ruling that found former president Hosni Mubarak, his sons and other regime figures not guilty in January 2011 demonstrators murders.
The demonstration was dispersed as participants protested without permission, said a security source.
In the meantime, Security Chief Tarek el-Gazzar asserted that the security situation in the province was stable.
