The Arab chiefs of staff, who are members of the Arab League (AL), wrapped up the activities of the first day of their second meeting held at the AL's headquarters under Egyptian Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy.

They discussed the executive measures of the decision made during the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) pertaining to forming an Arab joint force.

They are scheduled to continue their discussions on Sunday and after the sessions they will issue a press statement concerning forming the force.
