Arab coalition war jets on Monday shelled positions of Houthi militias and loyalists to former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh in Sanaa.

The shelling targeted the camps of maintenance in al Hasba district and the house of Yemeni politician Sam Yahya al Ahmar, which has been taken as shelter by houthis.

The air strikes also targeted the military academy building in northern Sanaa.

The coalition warplanes also targeted Saawan district in eastern Sanaa, which houses a military unit.
