Permanent delegates at the Arab League confirmed in their consultative meeting here Wednesday that Libya needs support in order to solve its crisis and meet the hopes of its people by restoring security and stability and rebuilding the country's institutions.
The objective of the meeting was to discuss the current security situation in Libya, Morocco's permanent representative at the Arab League Mohamed Saad Al Alami told reporters.
Al-Almi, who is the head of the meeting, added the Arab diplomats listened to a detailed report by both Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Al-Araby and the envoy of the league Nasser Al-Qodwa.
Al-Alami said that both Al-Araby and Al-Qodwa presented to the participants the latest developments in Libya and the league's efforts in order to hold a national dialogue there.
Participants stressed the necessity of reaching a unified Arab vision to back Libyans in achieving security and security, he said, adding the discussions were positive and in favor of supporting the Libyan people to meet their hopes.
