Kuwait's Representative Aziz al-Dihani

Permanent delegates at the Arab League came together here on Monday for an extraordinary meeting to discuss the current situation in Libya, with Secretary-General Nabil Al-Araby attending.
The meeting mainly discusses ongoing efforts by Arab countries to address problems Libya is facing at present, Kuwait's permanent representative at the Arab League Aziz Al-Dihani told reporters.
"What is happening in Libya is worrying to everyone, especially the State of Kuwait which is the head of the current Arab summit," he said.
He voiced hope that the current efforts by Arab countries, mainly neighbors, to put an end to the crisis in Libya would be successful in the near future.
On his part, Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab League Ambassador Ahmad bin Helli said the meeting was held upon request from Libya's permanent representative at the league Ambassador Ashour Burashed
The gathering is mainly intended to ponder over the current serious developments and growing violence in Libya, he added.
