Permanent delegates at the Arab League met here on Wednesday to discuss the current humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian city of Jerusalem and Israel's continuing violations there. Kuwait's permanent delegate Ambassador Azeez Al-Dihani is attending the meeting. Speaking to reporters, Morocco's permanent delegate at the league Mohammad Al-Almi stressed the significance of the gathering being held upon request from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). Al-Almi, who is the head of the meeting, said the Arab diplomats listened to a detailed report by the OCHA chairman on the humanitarian situation in the occupied city and relevant requirements. He said the meeting will also consider how to coordinate Arab stances on Arab-European dialogue and preparations for the third meeting of Arab-European foreign ministers in Greece between June 10-11
