An Arab League Council decided Saturday to develop a draft resolution on Yemen to be discussed by the Arab foreign ministers in their meeting, slated for Monday, Yemen's Ambassador to Egypt Mohamed al Hesmi said.
"The new resolution calls on the Arab countries to support the ongoing national dialogue in Yemen and stresses the importance of protecting Yemen' security and unity," Hesmi said.
He added that Saturday's AL meeting, which was held at the level of permanent delegates, discussed the humanitarian situation in Yemen and efforts exerted to settle the Yemeni crisis.
