Arab League (AL) Chief Nabil el Araby announced on Thursday Arab support for legitimacy of Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.

In an address to an AL consultative meeting, Araby said the pan-Arab body supports the military operations launched by the Saudi-led Arab coalition in Yemen.

He further called on the Houthi group to immediately withdraw from Sana'a and other Yemeni cities.

He also called for taking urgent measures to handle the dangerous humanitarian situation in Yemen, thanking Saudi Arabia and Kuwait for their financial support for the Yemeni people.
