Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Arabi arrived here Monday to take part in Tuesday’s inauguration of re-elected Sudanese President Omar Hassan al Bashir.

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Ismail and AL delegate to Sudan Salah Hamlima received Arabi upon arrival at the airport.

In statements Monday, Arabi voiced happiness for participating in the inauguration of Bashir.

He also hailed Bashir's role in Sudan and the Arab world.
