Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil El Araby on Saturday condemned a terror blast that took place in Karranah in northern the capital Manama last night.

In a statement, El Araby voiced AL's solidarity with Bahrain in its fight against terrorism and the measures to be adopted to safeguard its security and stability.

He also offered condolences to the family of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

An explosion in Bahrain has killed one police officer and wounded seven other people, among them a child, according to the country's interior ministry.
