Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Arabi condemned on Friday a blast that targeted a Shiite mosque in Qatif in eastern Saudi Arabia, leaving scores of worshipers dead and injured.

In a press release, Arabi offered his condolences to the Saudi people over the victims.
