Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby on Friday strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the Tunisian resort city of Sousse.

Araby phoned the Tunisian permanent delegate to the Arab League, expressing condolences to the Tunisian people and leadership.

He stressed the pan-Arab organization's support for Tunisia in its fight against terrorism.

A terrorist attack targeted two hotels in Tunisia earlier in the day, leaving 27 people dead and six others wounded.
