Arab League chief Nabil El Araby has slammed a terrorist attack against the African Union base by Al-Shabab militants in Somalia.
Several persons were killed and injured in the attack.
In a press statement on Sunday, Araby said the league condemned terrorist acts, blasts and assassinations committed by the terrorist Al-Shabab group in Somalia.
Araby praised efforts exerted by the AU mission in support of the national army of Somalia in face of terrorism.
Araby stressed that the Arab League will continue to support these efforts, offering condolences to the families of the victims.
