Arab League Secretary General Nabil El-Arabi and his deputy Ambassador Ahmed bin Heli will leave here on Monday for Doha to attend the 35th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, due to kick off on Tuesday.
Ambassador Bin Heli said the Arab League's chief attendance comes at invitation from Qatari Foreign Minister Khaled bin Mohammad Al-Attiya. He said GCC is one of the routes of joint Arab action and its experiment should be utilized for the best interest of the Arab nation.
He also asserted that the GCC summit comes at a time when Arabs are joining hands and working together towards more constructive steps for the future.
Ambassador Bin Heli voiced hope that GCC could help clear the Arab atmosphere.
