The Arab League (AL) Council at the permanent delegates' level strongly condemned the killing of the Jordanian pilot who was burned alive by the Daesh group.
During a meeting in Cairo on Thursday, the council extended its condolences to the pilot's family and the Jordanian people for their loss.
It reiterated its support for the Jordanian army in its fight against terror groups.
The ultra-hardline group released a video on Tuesday appearing to show the captured Jordanian pilot Mouaz al Kasasbeh being burnt alive in a cage.
