The Arab League (AL) Council at the permanent delegates' level strongly condemned terrorist acts which took place last Thursday in North Sinai.
It also voiced resentment toward those despicable attacks, which claimed the lives of dozens of Armed Forces personnel.
In a statement at the end of its emergency session on Thursday, the Council extended deepest condolences to the Egyptian government and the families of the martyrs. It also wished speedy recovery for the injured.
The AL Council, meanwhile, affirmed its support to Egypt in its fight against terrorism.
