The Arab League Council decried the terror attacks that struck North Sinai on Wednesday and left dozens of army men killed and injured.
At the conclusion of an extraordinary meeting, held at the permanent delegates' level, the council reiterated Arab support for Egypt in its war against terrorism and for measures taken in this regard.
The council said Arab countries are committed to cutting off funding sources to terror organizations, it said.
Member states are willing to cooperate with each other to fight terrorism, especially as regards exchanging information and expertise.
The council urged the international community to support Arab efforts to combat terrorism threatening national Arab security.
