The Arab League announced Thursday a big move on the level of heads of Arab and Islamic state and government to stop aggression and blatant violations of Israeli occupation authorities against Al Aqsa Mosque and the occupied Al Quds.

In statements, Ambassador Mohamed Sobeih, Assistant AL Secretary General and Head of Palestine and the Occupied Arab Lands' Sector, said that Arab foreign ministers, at their recent meeting on Sunday, took a clear decision in this regard.

A big Arab move will be led by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, King Abdullah II of Jordan, and King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia and Moroccan monarch King Mohamed VI, as well as other Arab and Islamic countries, he added.

Sobeih affirmed his support to a call from Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Al Malki to hold an emergency Islamic summit on Al Quds, in light of the recent dangerous threats by Israeli occupation forces against Al Aqsa Mosque, he said.

Warning against the repercussions of continued Israeli violations against religious sanctities, Sobeih described the summit as a right action and important opportunity for Arab and Islamic summiteers to discus the Palestinian cause.
