The Arab League (AL) hosted on Tuesday a conference on the Arab Convention against Corruption.
The two-day event will discuss the statute of this anti-corruption deal.
Chairman of a Kuwaiti anti-corruption authority Abdulrahman Al-Namsh said the pan-Arab body faces several challenges to draft the convention's statute.
The members states in the Arab Convention against Corruption include Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Iraq, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and Morocco.
