The Arab League (AL) Council has assigned Secretary General Nabil el Araby to begin consultations and contacts with Arab foreign ministers to set a date for holding an urgent meeting to discuss the Yemeni crisis, Arab League Deputy Secretary General Ahmed bin Heli said.
In a press conference, Bin Heli announced that the AL General Secretariat is expected to reveal outcomes of the consultations to hold the ministerial meeting on Yemen.
It is scheduled to be held next week, according to Bin heli.
