Arab League chief Nabil el-Arabi on Thursday praised the initiative that was floated by King Abdullah bin Abdel Aziz of Saudi Arabia on healing the Arab rifts and reaching an inter-Arab rapprochement.
In a released statement, Arabi underlined the importance of the move describing it as giving a momentum to efforts for ending inter-Arab differences and divisions.
He further referred to the response of the Egyptian presidency welcoming the initiative in its capacity as seeking to stand up to dangers besetting the Arab region and its national security.
