The Arab League renewed its call for Yemen's political powers to immediately stop all forms of violence and respect the legitimate authority of the country.
In a press statement Tuesday, AL deputy secretary general Ahmed bin Heli said that the AL is closely following up the developments in Yemen.
He further said that the pan-Arab body is holding the necessary contacts to contribute to containing the crisis.
