The Arab League underlined on Sunday the importance of providing an appropriate atmosphere for the comprehensive national dialogue to take place in Sudan on October 10.

In press statements, Arab League representative to Sudan Saleh Halima called on the different Sudanese political powers and armed groups to take part in the dialogue.

He stressed that the latest pardon by Sudanese President Omar Hassan Bashir and the ceasefire decision are positive steps meant to create an appropriate atmosphere to render the dialogue a success.

He underlined the importance that the dialogue would bring together all sides involved with no exceptions to address their problems.
