Cairo - MENA
The Arab League on Wednesday called for standing against all attempts that aim at linking Islam and Arabs to terrorism.
"Terrorism is an international phenomenon which has nothing to do with any religion or race," Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, the Arab League Assistant Secretary-General, said.
She made her comments in a conference in Saudi Arabia about the role of Arab media in combating terrorism.
"Not only is the Arab region suffering from terrorism, but also the whole world," she said.
