The Arab League urged Yemeni political forces to immediately stop all forms of violence and respect the legitimate authority of the country.
The AL, meanwhile, voiced deep concern over the unfortunate developments that are currently taking place in Yemen.
In press statements Monday, AL deputy secretary general Ahmed bin Heli said that the AL is closely following up the developments in Yemen.
He further said that the pan-Arab body is holding the necessary contacts to contribute to containing the crisis.
