The Arab League warned of the grave effects of armed conflicts on children.
This came during a speech delivered by Head of the Arab League's Department for Women, Family and Childhood Inas Mekawy during the seventh regional workshop on children's rights in the Arab World.
The Arab region is witnessing escalating violence against children, she said.
The AL is keen on protecting children, especially those in Palestine, she affirmed.
It is important to set plans for joint action in order to find systems to protect children, she added.
