The General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers Council has condemned the "criminal acts" committed by "terrorists" in Iraq.
The Secretariat, based in Tunisia, said in a statement on Monday that it has been following up with concern the "sordid criminal acts by terrorist groups" in Iraq, sabotage killings and abuse.
It also referred to similar acts in other Arab countries that revealed the "real face of hateful terrorism." Meanwhile, the Secretariat voiced solidarity with the Iraqi people and security forces in the confrontation with "evil and criminal groups."
