he Arab leaders endorsed a resolution on developing the Arab League, which is related to the amended Statute of the Arab Peace and Security Council.
The resolution includes 10 articles related to supporting peace and stability of the state members, taking into account the non-meddling in the internal affairs of the state members.
The resolution also includes encouraging the principles of democracy, good governance and the rule of law along with protecting human rights and respecting the humanitarian international law.
Under the amendment, the council will convene twice a year at the ministerial level.
The council will be assigned with preparing strategies of maintaining peace and Arab security along with promoting Arab capabilities in the preventive action sphere.
