Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Araby

Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby called for a meeting at the highest level to face terror.

It is important that the international community changes its way of dealing with the Palestinian cause and attempts to fully solve the dispute and take the necessary measures, Araby said in an interview with Asharq Al Awsat newspaper.

Araby said that he will meet with UN-Arab League special envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura on July 18.

Answering a question on troika summit, Araby said that a joint Arab power protocol was sent to the troika which includes presidents of Egypt, Kuwait and Morocco.

On coordination in the AL, Araby said that the AL will appoint a military consultant.

On the peace process, Araby said that several states, including France, think of means of bringing about peace.

On Libya, Araby said that contacts are underway with UN envoy to Libya Bernardino León and the legislative government.
