Arab League Secretary General Nabil al-Araby received on Tuesday Sudan's Ambassador in Cairo Abdel Mahmoud Abdel-Halim,
Emerging from the meeting, Abdel Halim, who is also Sudan's representative to the league, said he discussed with Araby cooperation between the pan-Arab body and Sudan in addition to the developments in Yemen.
He said his country backs Morocco's call for holding a meeting at the foreign ministers' level to discuss conditions in Yemen and means to cement the unity of the Arab country and the integrity of its territories.
The meeting also tackled conditions in Libya and the outcome of Geneva dialogue among the Libyan rivals, said the Sudanese diplomat.
He pointed out that the meeting also touched on preparations for the coming Arab summit in Egypt in March, expecting the summit to witness major participation to back the league efforts to deal with the challenges facing the Arab countries.
