Armed Forces men continued on Tuesday efforts to hunt down terrorists, saboteurs and drug traffickers, who pose threats to Egypt's national security.
Security sources said border guard soldiers, in cooperation with military engineers, managed to destroy seven tunnels in north Sinai along the border with Gaza Strip, used for smuggling of goods weapons and ammunition.
They added that four RPGs were found in one of the tunnels along with a huge amount of ammunition.
In the western zone on the borders with Libya, border guard police managed to destroy several 4×4 vehicles, ammunition and communication devices.
