The Armed Forces managed to eliminate ten terrorists in an exchange of fire after they tried to target military posts in North Sinai.
A statement issued by the military spokesman, Mohamed Samir, said that 18 others were arrested and 12 vehicles and 41 motorbikes used in carrying out terrorist operations were destroyed in a security campaign.
He also said that 87 hideouts used by terrorists for meetings, were including 15 bunkers, were destroyed.
Seven explosive charges were detonated during the campaign, he added.
