The Military Research Authority organized a scientific strategic symposium, dubbed "Sinai between past and future", within the framework of celebrations marking the 33rd anniversary of liberating Sinai.

Head of the Military Research Authority Gamal Shehata delivered a speech in which he highlighted the patriotic role that have been played by the Armed Forces particularly during the past phase.

The symposium, which included three scientific sessions, took up means of developing the Egyptian peninsula.
