The Armed Forces command has issued directives to the military leaderships to take part in securing vital facilities to protect them from anybody seeking to foil the country's celebrations marking the Sinai Liberation Day.

A statement issued by the Armed Forces on Sunday said field armies and military zones shared citizens' celebrations on the occasion in major squares and manned patrols in the streets in various governorates.

According to the decision, some Armed Forces formations will be redeployed to secure the squares and vital facilities.
